WHAT PROJECT ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE ON?

GALILEO : GMV is a key player in the development of the ground segment and operations of the European satellite navigation and positioning system.
SPACE RIDER : In GMV we are responsible for developing the on-board software of the Space Rider, a space vehicle for transporting experiments in orbit. You will acquire knowledge in critical embedded software in C/C+ +, experience in scripting languages such as Python , bash, TCL, experience in professional software development tools: Git, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code, Polyspace, Linux development environment and knowledge in the space systems.
RIPTIDE : At GMV we are responsible for the creation of a resilient PNT solution. In this project you will work with Software Defined Radio technology in the fields of GNSS and VHF and gain knowledge in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and Maritime VHF (Very High Frequency Maritime Communication Systems).
ACTIVA : At GMV we developed the systems engineering part for space missions, orbital mechanics and the collision avoidance evaluation and maneuvering part. You will learn mission analysis, orbital mechanics , collision assessment and collision avoidance manoeuvre design and participate in TRL5 activities by programming modules for the system. You will gain knowledge in understanding the space surveillance and traffic management domain , evolving the programming skills, understanding the space engineering tasks and workflows.
EXOMARS : GMV has a key role in this mission in relation to navigation, control and systems in this ambitious space program led by the European Space Agency (ESA), which aims to search for signs of past or present life on Mars and study the Martian environment.
HARMONY : GMV is participating in a pan-European initiative that seeks to improve the effectiveness of treatments for patients with hematological malignancies, such as leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, through the use of advanced technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence.
️ SPACE EQUIPMENT COMMUNICATION: GMV is involved in the telecommanding Encoder FPGA IP module following ECSS standard, coding and deployment onto the board. For this project you will gain knowledge in VHDL, FPGA , Data Handling, Encoding, avionics communication , parsing, digital streaming processing.
SPACE EQUIPMENT CRYPTOGRAPHY: GMV is involved in the development of the embedded space-domain cryptographic module in FPGA, implementing VHDL code using C SW reference and accelerating existing VHDL code. For this project you will gain knowledge in embedded computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, post-quantum cryptography, FPGA, VHDL , HW-acceleration, HW-redesign.
