Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Pitesti Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to lead and coordinate our Accounting and Controlling teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both accounting and financial controlling, ensuring smooth collaboration between these functions. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, financial planning, and analysis, as well as driving improvements in financial processes and performance. This role requires at least 3 years of management experience, and the ability to lead teams and align financial strategy with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Oversee, coordinate, and mentor the Accounting and Controlling teams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration. Set performance targets, provide coaching, and manage the professional development of the teams. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports from both teams. Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure that all financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with the Controlling team. Monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance. Financial Analysis: Oversee financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost management, and trend analysis to support decision-making. Support the CFO in long-term financial planning and business strategy development. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting within both teams. Implement best practices in accounting, controlling, and financial management. Collaboration: Act as the liaison between the Accounting and Controlling teams, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and reporting. Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and ensure financial information is communicated effectively. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are highly desirable. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, including at least 3 years in a management role. Proven experience working across both accounting and controlling functions. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
