The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <p>This Company is currently seeking an experienced Business Origination Specialist to join their New Business Development Organization, which focuses on merger & acquisition, joint venture, partnership, and divestiture transactions. As a key member of This Company's New Business Development Origination Group, this role involves bringing market insights across various sectors to uncover business opportunities that primarily lead to transactions such as acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures on a global scale.</p> <p>Moreover, the position demands strong project management capabilities and experience leading large cross-functional teams. Effective communication and presentation skills, especially with senior management, are essential for success in this role.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Generate new business ideas and assess their feasibility.</li> <li>Articulate rationale for pursuing identified opportunities, considering alignment with business strategy, market trends, business impact, and risk mitigation.</li> <li>Engage with internal and external entities to stay informed of current and emerging business trends.</li> <li>Lead and conduct desktop market research.</li> <li>Develop business plans and financial models, and review financial models prepared by others.</li> <li>Produce thought leadership reports describing strategies, financial and operational performance of companies, industries, and sectors.</li> <li>Manage cross-functional teams to develop business plans for new opportunities.</li> <li>Continuously review and enhance the business origination process with best practices.</li> <li>Mentor and coach junior staff members in skill development and the business origination process.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>A BS degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, or equivalent, with an MBA or its equivalent; and a professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience across multiple industries; if no MBA or professional certification, then 15 years of relevant experience is required.</li> <li>Broad industry experience including oil and gas, broader energy industry, technology, professional services, real estate, and infrastructure.</li> <li>Expertise in conducting commercial and economic feasibility studies.</li> <li>Knowledge of venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing, as well as project development.</li> <li>Strong finance background including financial valuations and modeling experience.</li> <li>Background in strategy development or relevant strategic experience.</li> <li>Experience in developing deal strategy and market positioning.</li> <li>Strong analytical ability to synthesize data from various sources into meaningful insights.</li> <li>Experience with market intelligence platforms, analytics, and report generation.</li> <li>Excellent command of spoken and written English.</li> <li>Excellent writing skills to produce reports for senior management.</li> <li>Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to senior management.</li> <li>Track record of originating transactions that resulted in successful deals.</li> </ul>
