Job DescriptionAre you interested in leading a team across multiple countries & Marketing functions to deliver high impact, innovative and commercially focused programs to build the LEGO brand, ensuring that LEGO are the leaders in children’s marketing?Our amazing Romania/Bulgaria/Israel Business Unit is looking for its newest member: an inspirational leader to develop and implement the brand’s marketing strategy across different consumer & shopper audiences and retail channels, with the objective of strengthening the brand equity, market penetration and Consumer sales in the region.Core responsibilities:Build and lead a strong team across multiple functions to deliver high impact, innovative and commercially focused plans to build the LEGO brand love in three diverse markets (Romania, Bulgaria and Israel)Responsible for development and implementation of the marketing strategy to increase the brand penetration among local kids and parents, by implementing the best-in-class consumer and shopper marketingOwnership and management of the entire marketing budget for the business unitKey member on the BU Leadership Team, involved in setting future direction & strategy to ensure the business delivers against growth targetsStrong focus on team leadership, building bench strength for the organization. To keep up with the fast-growing business and organization, we are seeking talents to help secure our long-term growth and success in the region.The Marketing department is responsible for full end to end marketing activities including marketing strategy development, campaign planning and its execution across consumer, shopper and in-store marketing to strengthen the brand equity, market penetration and drive the commercial success of the business. The department is made up of 3 marketing subject areas with different functional responsibility: Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing & Digital Marketing.The Head of Marketing is expected to play a pivotal role to embrace and collaborate with internal and external partners, which are mainly Regional and Global Marketing team, other functions such as Sales and Operations, Retailers and Agency partners. This role needs to lead a current and growing team so strong leadership capabilities are crucial in the success of this role. The successful candidate will be reporting to General Manager BU RO/BG/IS.Do you have what it takes?Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in marketing or economicsWorking experience and consistent track record on business performance and leadership within marketing functions Director or Senior Manager level (preferably in FMCG)Strong experience in brand marketing, proven track record in building brand awareness and desire in developing/emerging markets is essentialExperience from working internationally or with international companies/brandsCommercial growth mindset, should be persistent, self-motivated and highly driven, and have a can-do mentalityHigh ability for working across functions (sales, marketing, operations and leadership teams), strong collaboration and stakeholder management skillsConsistent track record in building and leading teamsExcellent English language communication skills (Written & Oral), Romanian language is a bonusAvailable to travel on an occasional basis (within BU countries and Europe)#li-phApplications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
