For our development projects we are looking for team members who face the challenges of the international automotive markets with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm. Tasks: Act as an internal and external point of contact within the field of expertise; Create concepts, prototypes and generic methods for complex hardware/software (e.g. technical applications, modules/architectures, etc. in the Technologies & System Engineering department); Analyze, develop and program new hardware/software (e.g. technical applications, modules/architectures in Siemens TIA Portal, C# etc.) as well as maintain and expand existing applications; Create and update technical documents (e.g. documentation, operating instructions, calculations, etc.); Create and maintain work instructions; Conduct all activities and tasks according to development processes; Start up equipment/lines/systems, both domestically and in foreign countries; Provide technical support and backup for associates; Plan and conduct production support for the production area, especially for rolling out hardware/software in cooperation with the involved departments; Conduct training courses both domestically and in foreign countries; Continuously update skills through participation in internal and external training courses, conferences, technology days, trade fair visits, patent research, etc. Profile: Bachelor Degree in a technical field; +3 years of experience in a similar field and PLC Programming; C# knowledge would be an asset; Knowledge in software lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing etc.); Technical understanding and knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering; Very good communication skills in English; Good organization and problem-solving skills; Ability to take initiative, make decisions and adapt to frequent changes; Very good communication skills, team–player and self-motivated; Strong willingness to learn, grow and to further develop.
