With a constant stream of projects, we need creative individuals who thrive on challenges. Do you want to be part of the team? Join us now in the Corporate Finance Unit as Senior Accountant (m/f) Your new role – challenging and future-oriented Generate local financial statements and related reports and ensure their correctness.Prepare journal entries for local GAAP closings and ensure these are posted timely; provide support to CF Hub team and local commercial teams for closing according to local GAAP.Oversee all accounting transactions (e.g. in A/P or A/R accounting, in maintenance of the general ledger, account reconciliation's, journal entries).Prepare legally required management reports and documents for local bodies (e.g. supervisory board, management board, etc.).Monitor quality of accounting services provided by Siemens Global Shared ServicesMaintain effective communication with internal and external partners like hub accounting department, local management, Global Shared Services, and external and internal auditorsSupport special Siemens and Hub projects steered out of the Hub Accounting organization (e.g. process improvements, productivity programs, carve-ins, carve-outs, digitalization initiatives etc.) Your profile Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance or similar.Available to work the first 2-3 months of employment in Bratislava/Vienna. At least 5 years’ experience in Accounting. Expert knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP. Strong knowledge of accounting practices and processes.Managerial seniority capabilities. Solid knowledge of SAP.
