Senior Java Developer in Bucuresti

Job Description Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.   As a Senior Java Developer at Endava, you will have the following responsibilities: Developing and testing solutions in Java based on given requirements Estimating tasks and participating in daily team sync-ups Participating in code reviews Daily communication with the client through emails, phone sync-ups etc. Collaborating with the QA engineering team to ensure the delivered code meets the defined standards. Qualifications Experience with the latest Java versions (7+ years); Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, OOP principles, design patterns, and engineering practices; Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS); Knowledge of Web protocols and technologies, RESTful Web services; Experience with source code versioning systems (Perforce, Git, SVN); Good verbal and written English; Experience with both SQL & NoSQL databases; Experience with Microservices; Solid understanding of the complete product development cycle; Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and self-reliant; Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, Spring and Spring Boot.
