The GEC model is well embedded in Arcadis, and the strong relationships that exist between our global offices are truly unique.We are looking for an Intermediate Architect, able to put together construction documents, including specifications and material research, coordinate with consultants, versed in technical details and envelope detailing. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an architectural office and be a team player with problem solving skills, supporting the design team to develop creative technical solutions.Role accountabilities: Assist the Project Lead in coordinating and managing workload. Attend design team meetings and support team effort at production and delivery stages. Assist with development and management of the contract documents and specifications. Assist with the coordination of quality control of design and document deliverables ensuring adherence to design objectives, budgets, code requirements and other regulations. Ability to checked and cross-checked for accuracy own work, for relevance and accuracy of dimensions, notes, abbreviations, and indications. Assist with development of presentation material when required. Perform all other related tasks that will help accomplish the project. Qualifications & Experience: Architectural degree or College diploma in Architectural Technology or all other equivalent training. Proficient with the following modelling software (AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM environment), graphic software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office. Experience with developing and researching appropriate details and construction sequencing. Good initiative, attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required. Excellent time management skills. Good design and graphics skill will be considered an asset.
