If you are looking for the solidity of a Global Group that is at the forefront of innovation, but with the agility of a human structure that tailors to the personal development of its employees and allows opportunities for evolution in an international environment, then this is the place for you!The Work Package Manager is responsible for developing and leading projects or work packages that are carried out in Thales Bucharest within an international environment (cooperating with other Thales entities) and is accountable for quality, budget and schedule, according to Software Development & Test Center strategy and objectives.What we offer?Fantastic opportunity to gain further experience in and industrial sector leader,Opportunity to work in a fast paced, exciting, and dynamic environmentAs a rapidly expanding organization, Thales in Romania can offer you many opportunities to develop your technical expertise and experience in an international environment, while building the career of your dreamsJob summary :Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Deliver the key results and performance metrics the projects, including order intake, sales, gross margin and cashCreation of the initial Project Plan during the bid or “Demand” phase of the lifecycle through requirement capture, work definition, estimating and scheduling that will include all Milestones, activities, resources and any other feature that will require to be delivered.Project Governance (the Gate and Stage Processes) over the bid and project delivery activities to ensure project, technical, procurement and support processes are applied and are effective in controlling risks.Ensure all business planning and reporting is published in accordance with Business directives, Cost & Delivery performance through close working with other functions,Manage all project stakeholders; ensuring strong communications are established and maintainedEnsure that members of the project team are actively managing Risk and Opportunities, and have a robust Project Management PlanProfessional competencies:Education/QualificationEducated in a discipline that is compatible with the requirements of Project ManagementLevel D Professional accreditation with the Association for Project Management (or equivalent level of professional accreditation such as Prince2, PMI Institute, IRSE License Manager, etc.)Requested technical competenciesExperience/Knowledge of project setup including creation of initial Project Plans during the bid phase through requirement capture, work definition, estimating and scheduling that will include all Milestones, activities, and resourcesExperience/Knowledge of project monitoring, control & execution processes, and techniques (for example; WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies , EVM)Experience/Knowledge of the Project Management process on Change Control, Risk & Opportunity Management, and Information ManagementExperience/Knowledge of Schedule tools (Microsoft Project or Primavera)Knowledge of ITIL model.Personal competencies Drive Quality, Cost & Delivery performance through collaborationAble to work in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organization and multi countryStakeholder management and negotiation with the ability to deal with customers, partners, suppliers, and other parts of the businessTeam work, influence stakeholders and negotiation skillsCommunication and Reporting skillsLanguagesEnglish (fluent)French – B1 or above is a major advantageYOUR CAREER AT THALES:Future opportunities will allow you to discover other domains or sites.
