You have several years of experience and can bridge the gap between programmers and artists, consistently delivering creative solutions to demanding challenges.About the RoleAs a 2D Motion Designer with strong Unity expertise, you will play a crucial role in creating stunning 2D animations for a mobile casino-type game. You will be responsible for integrating your animations seamlessly into Unity, ensuring a smooth and high-performing experience. Your expertise will help craft smooth, engaging animations that elevate the overall player experience. You’ll be working closely with a talented team of developers and artists to create high-quality, immersive visuals that meet the highest standards of performance and aesthetics.This role is on an as-needed basis, with cycles of 1-2 weeks of work requested once every 4-6 weeks. You'll receive a 1-2 week prior notification on incoming requests and estimated volume of work.We are looking for someone able to work in the GMT+2 time zone to be able to sync with the team.The Quest:Create 2D Animations: Design and implement polished, fluid 2D animations for mobile casino game elements, including characters, reels, UI elements, and special effects, all optimized for mobile performance.Integrate Animations in Unity: Import, integrate, and optimize 2D animations and assets within Unity, ensuring they function seamlessly within the game’s mechanics and enhance gameplay.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work directly with the client and their team, collaborating with developers, artists, and designers to ensure your animations align with the project’s vision.As-Needed Engagement: Be available for freelance work, typically 1-2 week sprints every 4-6 weeks.
