The Offer Opportunity within a company with a solid track record of performance Leadership Role A role that offers a breadth of learning opportunities The Job Reviewing of weekly payment run, bank reconciliations, sales invoices, payroll journals and upload files Ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly Reviewing and approving of month end inventory and processing in accounting system Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals Preparing monthly vessel accounting Communicating with vessel managers Obtaining a sound understanding of different VAT jurisdictions Liaising with auditors during year end audit Working with peers at Head office, Malta office and vessel team Working on other reporting as required Managing a small team The Profile ACCA or University Degree in Accountancy or a related field or proven experience in the hospitality industry 4+ years of experience in a similar role Strong communication and collaboration skills, both within the office and internationally. Effective team management abilities Organized and adept at prioritizing workload and delegating tasks. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet set timeframes. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel Knowledge of NetSuite will be an asset Willingness to travel once or twice per year.
