Accountant - Arad in Arad

Our client is a successful entity in the industry of extraction, processing, and trading of metals, minerals, and energy. It adopts a responsible approach in all operational aspects, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and compliance with environmental standards and is looking for an Accountant for the Accounting Departament. Accountant Responsibilities: Ensure the customer / supplier invoices are timely uploaded in the SharePoint shared with the Operations / Accounting team for efficient bookkeeping, collection / payment processing Cash book maintenance vs. site General & Administrative invoicing and payroll expenses Ensure the coordination of the petty cash process Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies Creating and updating expense reports Collecting payments and updating accounts payable and receivable records Ensure that all accounting documents (invoices) are collected and forwarded to the accounting department (AOT HQ (CH) / Trader & Operation CH (Sezen) and accounting firm (Eurocont RO)) Provide support in order to collect the necessary information to the accounting department. Ensure that raw material consumption reports are prepared and transmitted to the accounting department (AOT HQ (CH) / Trader & Operation CH (Sezen) and accounting firm (Eurocont RO)) Ensure that the thermal and electrical energy production reports are prepared and transmitted to the (AOT HQ (CH) / Trader & Operation CH (Sezen) and accounting firm (Eurocont RO)) and maintain the tracking against the regulator’s monthly reports. These documents become absolutely necessary considering the obligation to record the production costs also from the accounting and fiscal point of view and the reporting to ANRE. Keep in touch with AOT SRL's suppliers-customers in order to confirm the accounting balance. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as an AR / AP assistant with exposure to General & Administrative costing Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, financial management and payment processing BS degree in Accounting / Finance with excellent level of English and Romanian Proficient with computer systems (SAP, Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Experience in energy projects and ability to work effectively in a remote / operational environment Ability to function in a team environment as well as independently; and understand requests from Exceptional organizational, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
