We are currently looking for an Accountant in our Finance team, based in Bucharest office. As an Accountant, you secure proper and efficient accounting and reporting for the business at the given quality level keeping all deadlines. Your tasks will include: Accounting Responsible for correctly applying Local Accounting Rules & Inter IKEA Rules on accounting and financial reporting. Responsible for the accurate and timely payments to vendors and co-workers Bookkeeping of bank statements Accounts payables booking and monthly checking. Travel expense claims booking, checking and periodical reconciliation for all the employees. Track and monitor accounts payable. Issue invoices. Support senior accountants with month-end, year-end close and audit process. As needed, assist with other accounting projects Assist with internal & external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries. Ad-hoc tasks related to bookkeeping and accounting areas Being a speaking partner for various stakeholders Maintain strong relation with relevant Inter IKEA departments. Qualifications We believe that you are a person who take the lead and drive your area of responsibility and interacting with people comes very natural to you. You are self-reliant and motivated to be a part of the development of IKEA and like to work efficiently and with continuous improvements. Furthermore, we see that you have: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or equivalent business background is required. Good MS office skills (word, excel) Knowledge of financial processes and general accounting procedures Intermediate level of English Good communication skills and team player attitude Ability to investigative and being detail oriented. Good planning and problem-solving skills and co-operate with others to achieve common goals.
