Accounting Manager with German in Bucuresti

Job Description Location: Bucharest, RomaniaWotkstyle: On-site Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all accounting operations for our German-speaking clients. This includes managing a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to bring their own team to form a dedicated unit of 5-6 members. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the accounting operations for German-speaking clients. Lead and develop a team of accountants, potentially bringing in a pre-existing team. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses. Provide strategic financial advice and support to clients. Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Handle tax planning, budgeting, and forecasting for clients. Maintain and enhance client relationships through excellent communication and service. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CECCAR) is nice to have Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on German-speaking clients. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Proven experience in managing and developing a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
