Accounts Payables Manager in Baia Mare

Job Description As an Accounts Payables Manager, you will oversee the achievement of the Accounts Payables department’s goals, guide and direct the teams to ensure efficient service delivery. You will be the promoter of process improvement initiatives and will support optimization and automation projects, always ensuring high customer satisfaction.You will assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems, procedures, and policies, as well as training and directing the work of the accounts payables teams, including Team Leaders, for the Romania Finance Shared Services Center.As an Accounts Payables Manager, you will be a key player in the Finance Transformation project, and you will support the ERP global implementation and adjacent tools.The Accounts Payables Manager will report to the Finance Shared Services Center Romania, Director of Operations.ResponsibilitiesEstablish work priorities and manage the accounts payables teams and team leaders.Assist with the training and deployment of the accounts payables teams and team members.Ensure timely and efficient support delivery and resolution, as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA), through high customer care.Develop and grow the department’s relationship with other functions and departments, within the FSSC center and outside the center.Establish and maintain close relationships with the internal and external clients.Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, support change management, and the Finance Transformation project.Support Team Leader in resolving recurring issues and promptly responding to escalations and problems raised.Coach Team Leaders towards common understanding of problem-solving, root cause analysis, and people engagement practices.Positively influence team members, to ensure engagement and drive productivity target achievement.Develop a Team-Based culture.Monitor KPIs to assess team performance, report achievements and discrepancies, propose new, adequate metrics.Provide assistance to the Director of Operations, when required.Capabilities & RequirementsSolid knowledge of the P2P processes;Demonstrated ability to lead customer support teams;Demonstrated ‘hand-on’ management style;Proven experience in coordinating team leaders/managers;Proven experience in customer service;Flexibility and ability to implement new policies, procedures, and systems;Proficiency in English and French;Experience in working in a shared-services environment;Ability to manage transformational and process improvement projects;Ability to work well independently and within a team environment;Candidate based in Romania;Proficiency in Romanian.Our offer toward work-life balanceWork-from-homeDirect & permanent contractFlexible benefits, at your choice (meal tickets, holiday / cultural vouchers, courses, wellness, etc.)Easter & Christmas bonusesPerformance bonusPrivate clinic medical subscriptionAdditional paid personal days per yearFree French language classesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) > free psychological, financial, or legal counselingInternal career opportunities, Learning & Development programsTeam activities/events, virtual FunWorkOpen & dynamic work environmentFlexible working schedule – organized in 3 shifts: 9:00-17:30, 10:30 - 19:00, and 13:30 - 22:00* Monday to Friday *3 mandatory evening shifts (days) per monthWorker TypeEmployeeJob TypeRegularAt SNC-Lavalin, we seek to hire individuals with diverse characteristics, backgrounds and perspectives.
