If you are willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow’s cleaner and smarter mobility, Forvia is the place to be!Your position and environment?Our Faurecia Interior System Business Group is looking for Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ) in our PITESTI, ROMANIA.Position DescriptionTitle: Advanced Supplier Quality (ASQ)Reports To: Division Supplier Quality Manager (Direct)Description:- Deploys APQP related to development phase (or current production phase) of Bought out parts following Faurecia Purchasing requirements- Trains the suppliers and makes sure that the defined standards are properly applied and on time delivered (APQP elements).- Follows the APQP progress with the status report and make decisions in collaboration with the program team.- Gives recommendations and/or technical decisions to ensure a defect free process through program management- Manages the process qualification at supplier (control plan and Quality basics implementation, Trial Run @ Rate & process Audit)- Involves in early base Plant SQA- Pronounces PPAP status and ensures to deliver validated PPAP prior Start of Production (SOP) after SQA assembly trial & appearance approvals.- Monitors PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and S/R rate.- Secures all Key characteristics (Safety and Regulations) during Program phase.- Manages progress/convergence plan with low performance suppliers involved in program in collaboration with division SQD.- Under delegation and with appropriate training of Division SQD, may conduct Panel assessments with Purchasing Commodity.Qualifications:Background requirements (education & experience)- 4-year degree- Minimum 1 year experience in a program team.- Results oriented- Ability to work in a matrix organization- Fluent EnglishTechnicalcompetencies (skills, knowledge and behavior):- Knowledge of Project Management methodology- APQP & PPAP validation process knowledge- Supplier audit process knowledge.Nice to have:- Bi-lingual- R&D experience- Quality experience- Product knowledge- Processes knowledgeReady to take on a new challenge?Apply and join us!
