AP Accountant with German in Bucuresti

In this role you will leverage your accounting and general ledger experience to perform activities in collaboration with cross-business teams. You will act as a role model for all company behaviors and values, and through your influence you will inspire colleagues and teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs accounting activities which may include General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inter-Company, VAT and Tax reporting transactions, Inventories, Reporting, Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableMay assist finance functions with payroll, tax, sales and/or cost accountingProcesses and check journals according to the defined procedures and accounting principles and legislationProduces routine reports, schedules, and summaries for managementScans statements, ledgers, and accounts to identify unusual or overdue items and selects the correct procedure to verify or adjust discrepancies or errorsResponds to specific questions from business stake holders and clarifies situations when necessary May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control proceduresEnsure all journal entries comply with internal and external audit specificationsConduct accounts reconciliation periodically, ledger close activities, and provide accurate financial data to support management in decision makingQUALIFICATIONS: Well organized, detailed, analytical individual with around 4 years experience on a similar role (as a Sr Accountant, inGeneral Accounting and reporting experience)Bachelor's Degree in Finance or AccountingKnowledge of US GAAP / knowledge of IFRS is a plusUnderstanding of financial reporting and internal controlsStrong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, etc.) and ERP program: OracleFluent in English and GermanCECCAR or ACCA may be a plusWe offer:A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovationMarket specific training and on-going personal developmentCareer growth opportunitiesExperienced leaders to support your professional developmentDynamic and international work environmentIf this is your dream role, then we'd love to hear from you.
