You should be a confident, enthusiastic creative and inspirational leader unafraid to be an advocate for the Art Teams with the ability to have a holistic approach on how art impacts the gaming development lifecycle. With a passion for excellence, you will drive consistent working practices, set high standards, mentor and support the full Art operation.Responsibilities Manage, motivate and grow a multidisciplinary team of art leads and artists who are chartered with defining the visual targets and the execution of art assets for the variety of projects. Maintain a long-term view of the Art Teams project needs and provide solutions for resourcing. Manage and support the Art Director and Art Leads to ensure that Art quality is maintained and improved Review, direct and provide positive constructive feedback and creative leadership to identify and resolve any issues related to art production. Evangelise and spread consistency in working practices both within the Art Teams. . Work with the Art Director to ensure working practices are regularly reviewed and improved where needed. Be an advocate and spokesperson for the Art Teams. Regularly update senior management on status and progress of production issues. Actively participate in multi-discipline stakeholder meetings and champion the Art Teams requirements/needs Collaborate with Producers and other staff to identify and resolve art workflow and staffing issues.
