Assembly (Cell) team leader in Bucuresti

A Vacancy has arisen for a Assembly team leader at manufacturing site.Responsibilities:Supervise a team of operators to achieve production targets efficiently.Ensure production schedule adherence following SOP's, Work Instructions, and H&S requirements.Drive improvement initiatives such as 5S and Theory of Constraints.Plan, monitor, and allocate work based on job packs to maximize team and machine output.Monitor team performance against KPIs and metrics, addressing issues such as shortages, spares orders, deliveries, and priorities daily.Investigate and resolve causes of poor productivity, implementing corrective action plans.Provide regular progress updates at departmental meetings and address internal department and line management queries.People Management:Monitor sick absences and attendance.Conduct appraisals and training plans.Maintain a skills Matrix for the team.Arrange on-the-job training for team members.Participate in team member recruitment as needed.Handle employee disputes.Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with relevant SOPs, Work Instructions, and PS's.Initiate and participate in 5S, Theory of Constraints, and other improvement activities.Adhere to health and safety regulations, including conducting risk assessments.Review manual handling procedures and Material Safety Data Sheets.Education & Qualifications:HNC/HND in an engineering-related discipline or equivalent apprenticeship.Specific/Technical Skills:Strong computing skills, including proficiency with email and SAP or equivalent software.Hands-on experience in the team's work (eg, seat fitter, machinist, operator) is advantageous.Numerical ability for interpreting graphs, percentages, and analysing trend data.Knowledge of company products.
