Our Associate Solutions Architects are passionate technologists with a demonstrated ability to learn. They are passionate about helping customers build infrastructures and applications at scale using AWS technologies. In this role, you will partner across AWS teams to help customers craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. You will shape and deliver replicable technical engagements to help build mind share and broad use of AWS services. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.This is a unique opportunity for driven, self-starters to play a role in a fast-growing business and to deliver significant value to AWS customers. Every day you will be learning something new from your customers, your peers and your own experiments.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS· Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience· Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Romanian· A passion for technology and for learning· Strong interpersonal skills· Early career experience in a technology domain such as web or mobile applications, networking, security, databases, analytics etc.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS· Knowledge of a modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Java, etc. and/or scripting· Background in any of the following: System Architecture, Infrastructure Architecture, Software Development, DevOps or Data Engineering· Working knowledge of cloud native architectures· Experience working in a customer-facing role· AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) and/or other industry certification
