The EMEIA Division is looking for a Python QA Developer for its Digital and Access Solutions (DAS) business to implement and help secure high-quality and end-to-end system robustness for connected devices within the EMEIA division. You will ensure that the approach is aligned with our strategy being part of a cloud connected architecture. The role will report to the EMEIA Python QA Team Lead. This will be an exciting journey where we will change the perception and challenge/stretch the boundaries of what a door environment is capable of today. A good analogy of this journey would be to compare moving from the landline phone to mobile. What you would do as our Python QA DeveloperBeing a part of the DAS EMEIA Quality team, you will play a vital role defining and implementing the DAS EMEIA end-to-end system testing necessary for our connected devices and services, all of which will be aligned with the digitalization journey set by the DAS EMEIA Access Control Solution (ACS) strategy. Core Responsibilities:You will support the Definition and execution of Test Integration activities throughout the software development life cycle.Be apart of a QA team responsible for verifying and ensuring the health, stability, and overall quality of different applications.Develop, review, maintain, and execute test environments, test plans, test data etc.Develop Automation Test suites and Automated Testing Processes.Work with the team to perform test result analysis and root-cause analysis of the defects found to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to maintain quality standards.Coordinate and/or consult with the development team on how to test various system features and interfaces. We believe the ideal candidate will demonstrate the below:Working knowledge of Agile software lifecycle development application.Experience in test automation frameworks as well as driving automated testing successfully.Vast experience working with embedded systems and cloud components, ultimately focused on end-to-end integrations and testing.Proficiency with a Python.Experience in Web and Mobile Application Testing.Familiar with electromechanical product development and system security.Familiar with git, robot framework and AWS technologies.Familiar with continuous integrations, cloud operations end to end lifecycle and continuous delivery.Bachelor’s degree in Computer science/engineering. As our common business language, fluency in spoken and written English is required (additional language skills are highly advantageous).
