Automation Specialist in Bucuresti

Job Description

  • Pro-actively initiative and working with plant peers and superiors in order to increase overall plant, management efficiency and cost improvements.
  • Responsible for governing the specifications for Control System hardware, software and OT network infrastructure in the site, and ensuring compliance to all OT Cyber Security policies.(Scada, Siemens, Studio 5000)
  • Implement technical productivity initiatives relating to control systems and OT.
  • Provide technical leadership and governance on major site project implementations.
  • Plan system improvements and upgrades to maintain the investments, increase efficiency, and ensure lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
  • Build capability into the site to support and sustain the critical systems, and provide technical support resource as required.
  • Manage relationships with external system suppliers and partners to deliver performance and cost improvements.
  • Propose the budget based on the maintenance plan.
  • Organizes and coordinates daily electrical and automation, in accordance with established procedures (performs back-up to programs, troubleshooting, etc.);
  • In the absence of the direct manager, performs emergency repairs at the request of the shift manager or the operators at the production lines, so as to avoid any danger of work accident and destruction of equipment and products;
  • Proposes and fulfills the short-term maintenance, as well as the long-term maintenance, the preventive maintenance and repair plans, in collaboration with superiors and colleagues, regarding the technical problems and requirements, as well as the production program;
  • Locates, diagnoses and repairs defects in electronic / electrical equipment, systems that may involve complex circuits, as well as software programs, according to the manufacturer's specifications;
  • Ensures the use of machines and work equipment at maximum capacity and in accordance with safety and quality requirements and ensures that production is continuous and minimally interrupted by damage;
  • Intervenes in the software programs of the machines to optimize / streamline their operation
  • Keep track of repairs made by recording in the shift report;

    • Qualifications/Requirements

  • Qualifications:Studies: University degree in automatic or electronic field;3 years minimum experience in a similar position and activity;
  • Abilities:Comprehensive technical experience of PLC, SCADA systems and Historians Foundational knowledge of networks, servers, and Microsoft operating systemsWide-ranging knowledge of manufacturing systems, processes and applicationsExcellent documentation, communication and facilitation skills
