Desired skills are: Academic degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering 3+ years of professional software development experience Proficient in usage charging technologies and high volume pay per use billing solutions, especially SAP Convergent Charging (as part of BRIM). Alternatively, if you are proficient in charging solutions used in utilities or other high-volume industries, then bring a willingness to learn Convergent Charging. Advanced understanding of high-volume billing processes independent of experience gained in telecom, high-tech, utilities or other high-volume industries! Proficient in one or more object-oriented programming languages: Java and/or Python Willingness to learn SAP ABAP Cloud. Proficient in API development as well as data query modelling and willingness to learn and use SAP REST Application Programming model. Solid understanding of agile software development leveraging DevOps toolsets (e.g., GitHub or Jenkins) Good knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Cucumber or Postman) Knowledge of software engineering and best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source code control, build processes, testing, and operations. Disciplined and structured configuration and programming methods with a focus on building for change rather than for perfection.
