Acoustic is currently seeking a BI Developer who is eager to learn and take initiative in crafting compelling narratives that support revenue decisions for our clients. As a BI Developer, your role will involve creating persuasive insights and weaving data into engaging stories that provide our clients with the necessary context to take action. You will be working alongside a team of developers who value collaboration and knowledge-sharing. What you will do:Participate in agile ceremonies.Design and develop end-user experiences through Looker dashboards, Looks, & Explores.Work with Product Managers and Back-End Developers to mold the data to the customer’s needs and create a single source of truth.Facilitate knowledge sharing by owning, documenting, and designing dashboards and reports to help other developers and analysts move the needle on innovations.Where needed help create processes to help standardize work and ease of implementation.Participate in lunch and learns as well as other technical knowledge-sharing events like our quarterly hackathons.Push company innovation efforts and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices. What you will need:3+ years’ Experience developing Business Intelligence Tools, Looker preferred.Strong SQL Skills.Experience in front-end solutions collaborating on the reporting requirements and DB design with DB/Backend architects.Experience in Java.Experience with Data Warehouse Solutions.Experience in using Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred).Familiarity with LookML and Looker visualizations.Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.Knowledge and experience with software development projects and delivery methodologies such as Agile. What will set you apart?Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.Looker LookML Developer Certified.Experience with Snowflake.Experience in working on migration projects from legacy reporting tool to Looker.
