Microsoft Visio (advanced) Modelling practices (advanced) Business Analysis (advanced) Agile (advanced) risk analysis (advanced) English (master) Polish (master) Job purpose:Work with business end users to gather and document user journeys, process flows and detailed user stories (both functional and non-functional requirements) to support a strategic re-platforming project. Work closely with Enterprise Architecture and IT Application Development teams to determine the correct solution and then support an RFP to identify preferred supplier(s) for the target platform.The role is with PIB Poland, a recently established Polish hub of PIB Group, that consists of several acquired broking and agency subsidiaries, with further rapid expansion planned, and integration and strategic re-platforming key to success. Key responsibilities:· To elicit user journeys, user stories and functional/ non-functional requirements via techniques such as interviews, workshops, process modelling and examination of business collateral. Document requirements with clear priorities.· To plan and lead workshops with business and technical stakeholders, documenting outputs, proactively seeking subsequent agreement and sign-off.· To understand current business processes across different subsidiaries and map them in standard formats such as Cross-Functional Flowcharts.· To “reverse-engineer” existing systems in detail and document them as necessary.· To act as a conduit between business staff and the technical development and support teams.· To recognize strategic opportunities for improvement to current business processes through logical reasoning and an appreciation of the technical impact in an SOA environment.· To reconcile conflicting information obtained from multiple sources and be able to recognize the “big picture” from a mixture of low-level information.· To propose innovative solutions that enable PIB Poland to achieve its objectives, leveraging an excellent understanding of the commercial environment and challenging the assumptions of business departments where appropriate.· To manage further ad-hoc activities as required.· New ideas proposed and implemented for improvement to business processes and/or software development practices.Maintain consensus on solution scope in the face of conflicting requirements from project stakeholders. Qualifications· Relevant BA qualifications Experience· Proven experience of providing business system analysis services in a project environment· Communicating with Senior Management· Working with third party outsource companies· Perceived to be a domain expert by both business and IT teams Knowledge· Knowledge of modelling practices (e.g. UML or BPMN/BPEL)· Good knowledge of Microsoft Visio or other modelling / graphical tools· Strong knowledge and experience of Business Analysis tools and techniques· Project management methodologies Skills· Fluent in both Polish and English· Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements· Strong familiarity with process-oriented business analysis· The ability to multitask· Experience in workflow/BPM implementations· A high standard of spoken and written English· Experience in both waterfall and RAD/agile implementations· Model Office/UAT management/Use cases· Presentation to staff at all levels· Clear, concise reporting· Risk analysis· Accuracy, attention to detail – low levels of error Attitude· Working at all times lawfully and in accordance with pre-defined regulatory, compliance and financial requirements, e.g. Data Protection, Health and Safety, FCA Standards· Working at all times in accordance with group/company policy, processes and control frameworks· Can-do attitude· Assertiveness· Driving change and improvement· Drive and resilience· A demonstrated interest in challenges, change and new situations; readiness to modify actions in accordance with new data
