PURPOSE
Business Coordination Department is at the core of the strategy definition and analysis for all Business within the Business Unit responsibility.
We assess and breakdown customer requests before coordinating the various departments in the company to create a consolidated business proposal. This includes processes such as delivery and macro-allocation, product technical analysis, cost/price definition, contract review/modification, tax analysis, HSE related issues and credit queries.
With more critical business, exposure to higher levels of management before submission to customers should be expected and is common even for those at a Graduate level.
Below some of BUCO main purpose:
- Contributes to the definition and implementation of sales objectives and strategies at Business Unit Level. Manages pricing Intelligence activities.
- Coordinates the information with different departments in order to sell products and comply with volume, prices and gross margin targets.
- Coordinates the order acceptance process and manages negotiations with Third Parties.
- Properly anticipates and forecasts the commercial results of his area.
- Integrates short-term forecast (Invoicing Projection) with mid-term Commercial forecast, and actively contributes to increasing BU forecast accuracy.
- Ensures BU compliance with Commercial procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES
- Monitors market dynamics, Tenaris positioning, competitors' behavior and their impact on BU Sales plan.
- Directs market intelligence activities and documents information.
- Coordinates price strategy for spot and Long Term agreements businesses within his/her responsibility.
- Optimizes BU pricing based on Competitive Environment, Market Conditions and TS Plant Load situation.
- Manages interaction with Gobal related departments and Provides input to Management about pricing policy, results and competition behaviour.
- Develops and maintains strategic suppliers relationships (CRA, Coaters, Accessories, etc.)
- Coordinates and requests Authorizations for offers according to applicable Authorization Manual.
- Manages previsions and variation orders during the complete offer/order cycle.
- Ensures BU compliance with Commercial procedures and proper documentation through IT systems (Dynamics, SAP, etc).

Education:
- Engineering background.
- Commercial or Finance Background .
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) mandatory.

Has highly developed negotiation skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
