The position is based in Bucharest.Main AccountabilitiesInterpreting written business requirements received from the Business Analyst and translating them in technical specification documents for the external providers / Consultants; translating business requirements into the appropriate dashboards and reportsUsing warehouse data to generate reports which support business decision making, performance monitoring, and strategic planningRunning queries and producing dashboards and reports for business users, according to requirements processed by Business AnalystsManaging the internal BI tool, namely MicroStrategyIdentifying potential suitable BI solutions supporting reporting needs on supply chain, financial, sales, and operation processesDefining technical requirements for third party BI Consultants, supervising them, and acting as a Project Manager for the requested assignmentsCoordinating external Consultants in the design, development, and testing of BI ApplicationsPreparing the technical documentation for created data modelsAssisting in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performanceAnalysing existing reports and optimizing them for standardization across the companyProfessional SkillsExperience in working with BI tools; exposure to ETL or MicroStrategy would be a plusStrong capabilities in understanding business needs, interpreting and challenging business requirementsAbility to build bridges between the business and the technology sidesCapacity to comprehend data warehousing, the processes of data quality, cleansing, and transformationProactivity in investigating problems to establish root causes and providing solutions to fix themBackground in using SQL queriesBachelor’s degree in Cybernetics, Statistics, Informatics, or Business AdministrationFluent in EnglishPersonality ProfileAutonomous, curious, and able to absorb information on the goSelf-organised with strong analytical and planning skillsProactive, takes initiative and drives things forwardTeam player with good communication and active listening abilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills necessary to coordinate 3rd party data processesOpen and flexible, with the capacity to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environmentStrong attention to details
