Business Intelligence Analyst - EEMENA
Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for a new colleague to join our EEMENA Finance team.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other related field with quantitative focus;
- Three (3) to five (5) years directly relevant experience, including reporting, analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting, commentary, and financial modelling;
- Advanced MS Excel user (including VBA macro) and ideally knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (e.g. PowerBI, MicroStrategy) ;
- Experience in data analysis/management using SQL and/or PL-SQL would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple complex tasks under tight deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach;
- Fluency in English;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Main Duties:
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of numbers to be used for managerial reporting, working closely with country Finance teams and corporate Finance;
- Collaborate with business users across department to clearly understand and capture their needs and so as to generate reports that support decision making;
- Implement data collection procedures, Interpret data using specific methods and technologies and turn data into valuable information;
- Consolidate data from various sources to generate precise and easy-to-use automated tools (BI, macros, other) for daily use by top management as well as Business Reviews and other business need;
- Analyze data to uncover meaningful insights and communicate effectively the findings to top management.
