C++ Consultant (FFmpeg) is needed for contract role in Denmark in Bucuresti

We are looking for an experienced C++ Consultant to help on a project with one of our clients based in Denmark. The consultant will assist the client in transitioning their software from Intel Media SDK to FFmpeg, ensuring a seamless migration and resolving critical technical issues, such as frame loss, along the way. This is a hybrid role, combining both onsite collaboration in Denmark with remote work. The right candidate for this position should have a deep understanding of C++ programming and FFmpeg technology, coupled with a strong analytical mindset and a proactive, solution-driven approach to problem-solving. This project will have a direct impact on over , systems worldwide, requiring expertise and precision to deliver optimal results. Skills and experience needed: -Lead and provide technical support for the migration from Intel Media SDK to FFmpeg, specifically focusing on resolving issues related to frame loss and other performance challenges. - Offer expert advice and guidance to the client's development team, ensuring the transition is smooth and efficient while meeting project goals and timelines. - Proven experience working with C++ in multimedia or software development projects, and deep knowledge of FFmpeg for video processing, encoding, and decoding. - Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying the root cause of issues and implementing effective, innovative solutions. - Able to manage tasks, work independently, and deliver high-quality results within project deadlines while collaborating effectively with remote and onsite teams. - Fluent in English with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
