Job Location: hybrid in Bucharest Recruitment process: HR discussion Technical interview Role description: Our client is a leading provider of technology and services in the gaming industry across international markets.  Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust C++ applications for gaming and betting platforms. Optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software. Implement and maintain multi-threaded applications and real-time data processing systems. Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues in a high-traffic environment. Stay up-to-date with modern C++ standards and best practices. Write well-documented, clean, and maintainable code. Requirements Strong proficiency in C++ (11/14/17/20), including modern programming paradigms. Experience with multithreading, networking, and performance optimization. Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Understanding of software design patterns and principles. Previous experience in gaming, betting, fintech, or high-performance computing is a plus. Ability to work in an agile environment and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Boost, STL, or other C++ libraries. Exposure to Linux-based development environments. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Familiarity with cloud services or distributed systems.
