We seek a  Category Manager to manage a group or category of products, for our business partner, a well-known retail discounter with a network of over 1200 stores that offer affordable products. In this role, you will you'll focus on the management of the categories of non-food products . oversee and optimize the performance of a specific product category.  You will also be expected to maintain a thorough understanding of consumer activities and trends. Mai responsibilities Managing the assortment matrix, product rotation, and positioning. Implementing the pricing policy within the product category. Optimizing stocks, forecasting demand, and managing orders. Negotiating, managing supplier relationships, and concluding contracts. Preparing promotions for products in the category and planning promotional activities. Studies on market trends, competition, demand, and consumer preferences. Monitoring results, analyzing data, and preparing reports on sales, profitability, and stock rotation. Collaborate with the Department Manager to develop and implement strategies, achieving established performance objectives. Your Profile At least 3+ years experience in a Category Manager Retail role. Expertise in category management. Proven experience working in the  non - food product category. Understanding trends, market segments, and consumer preferences. Knowledge of the  Russian / Ukrainian language   is a big advantage . Analytical and critical thinker Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills BA in business administration, marketing, or a similar relevant field
