Come join us!We are looking for Central Demand Planner, who would join our growing team in Bucharest ! Your responsibilitiesReports to SI&OP ManagerReceives and analyses regional demand forecasts.Develop and produce monthly forecast reports for product group, as part of global SI&OP process.Optimize demand planning flow. Monitor and eliminate inefficiencies in process and systems.Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.Maintains a constant relationship with regional demand planners and global product line owners to understand demand forecasting drivers for geographical scopeMeasured on global forecast accuracy and global forecast bias for product line within scopeWhat you bringMinimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning or supply planning.Understanding of demand planning practices such as forecast accuracy and forecast bias.Well-developed communication skills, both interpersonal and organizationalRapid and thorough independent decision making and creative problem-solving skillsFunctional CompetenciesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsOrganizational agility and awarenessStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)Knowledge of ERP system (i.e., Oracle)Behavioral CompetenciesResult-orientedPlanning and OrganizingPersuading and InfluencingEntrepreneurial and Commercial ThinkingCollaboration and negotiationAs an equal opportunity employer, FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.
