Main Responsibilities include:
Review and validate chemical data packages in accordance with EPA guidance to ensure compliance with published analytical methods and usability of environmental data
Upload laboratory analytical data to a specific client and regulatory databases
Manage data in relational database systems like Earthsoft EQuIS or Microsoft Access
Manipulate electronic data deliverables to create report-ready tables and visualizations
Develop new data management workflows and automated tools
Perform statistical analysis of chemical data
Prepare technical memoranda and white papers to be included in client deliverables
Minimum Requirements
10 years of relevant experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
Knowledge of environmental chemistry principles (i.e. environmental fate and transport)
Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles (i.e. quality assurance and quality control)
Experience using relational databases such as EQuIS or Microsoft Access
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Relevant technical writing experience
Ability to organize data in an efficient and clear manner
Strong attention to detail
Experience using statistical software packages and/or programming languages such as R and python
Experience performing chemical analysis in an academic or commercial setting
