Are You the team member we are looking for? Unit8 is looking for a Cloud Architect to join our team in Krakow. You will be part of diverse project teams and will partner with other engineers and data scientists to deliver data applications and solutions for our clients.You have strong hands-on experience with cloud architecture design and implementation on one of the following platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.You have a solid technical background and engineering experience with conceptualising, strategising, and architecting cloud solutions. Prior experience with consulting and building solutions for enterprise customers is a plus.You are passionate about your Data and Analytics domain and like to introduce new improvements that make sense and are pragmatic for the end-users.You are outcome-focused and you have a customer-service-oriented mindset.You have strong client-facing skills: comfortable interacting with clients (business & technical audience), delivering presentations, problem-solving mindset.Your are open to tackle new areas and challenges like designing and building novel AI & Data Science stacks or setting up MLOps infrastructureYou are eligible to register as a sole trader (self-employment) in Poland. What You’ll do At Unit8 we build a wide range of applications for our clients in various industries, as well as internal tools, each with their own set of challenges. In general, you will:Design, propose, build and maintain Data & Cloud architectures in close collaboration with the key stakeholders. Specifically, you will tackle challenges related to modern Data & AI cloud-native stacks.Be a trusted advisor to our enterprise business customers and CIO/CTO/CDO/Head of Platform functions.Participate in customer meetings, and visit the clients on-site when needed, to discuss the specific solutions you’re designing and implementingAudit cloud architectures in terms of functionality and security gaps as well as suggesting and following through on improvements.
