Your career opportunity The Fullstack Cloud Lead Engineer role is accountable for leading in working across the Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service in a pod within a Technology team. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects by providing technical/application guidance to project teams to on-board different platform solutions being offered by SPCOE. The responsibilities entail areas such as client communication, requirement analysis, project rollout, infrastructure coding & setup, technology update, knowledge sharing, automation, and operations support. They will be required to continually enhance their skills (i.e. focusing on cloud technology) within a number of specialisms which include front end, development, security, testing, and operational support. What you’ll do: Provide consultancy, advice and support on hosting API/microservice on platform. Unlock new capabilities in cloud migration factory. For example, develop new solution that can migrate on-premise infrastructure/ software to public cloud.Pod lead of Poland team and focal point of on-boarding in EU time zone. Deliver fully automatic pipeline to streamline the operations on Cloud Platforms.Engage with vendor such as Google or external contractors to unlock new Cloud Capability or problem resolution.Responsible for debugging technical issues on cloud involving containerization (i.e., GKE) and micro services, etc.Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies are strictly followed.Develop tools to migrate API from on premise to GCP cloud. What you need to have to succeed in this role: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field.Cloud engineering certificate holder or equivalent would be advantage. GCP skill is preferred.10+ years of experience in system/infrastructure implementation and operations.Experience in leading small team on project delivery would be advantage.Experience in leading vendor engagement would be advantage.Familiar with agile scrum process is a plus.Familiar with Linux OS, with shell scripting experience. Knowledge on network connectivity, VPC, Nginx, Kong, mTLS/TLS, GKE and docker.Knowledge on automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible and Terraform development experience.Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and documentation skills. Knowledge on programming language, such as JAVA and Lua, are a plus.
