Responsibilities:
- Design, plan and implement cloud solutions for enterprise customers in a major public cloud provider AWS, OCI
- Design, plan and implement container based solutions on a Kubernetes platform
- Managing the day to day activities of team and Serve as a point of escalation or conflict resolution
- Drive operational excellence in everything you do; this includes creating processes, procedures, and automation to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects
- Seek opportunities to introduce cutting-edge technology and automation solutions that are effective, efficient and scalable in order to improve our ability to deploy and maintain our global infrastructure
Requirements:
- Proven management experience over Cloud or DevOps Engineering teams
- Proven professional experience within Systems/Cloud/DevOps/Platforms/Software Engineering
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes based tooling
- Expert knowledge of the Cloud provider services (e.g. in AWS and OCI). Demonstrable skills managing deployments in the following areas: data, containers, web (microservices), serverless, Analytics, Compute, identity management.
- Strong experience in IaC (infrastructure as Code) platforms (Terraform, Ansible) and Scripting languages in YAML, Python and automation systems
- Expert knowledge in Containerized services with experience in real life deployments is a must.
- Proven experience leading technical transformations and migrating applications from enterprise to public cloud providers.
- Strong background around IaaS/PaaS
- Strong Architecture and designing skills for native Cloud environment and application awareness within the infrastructure capabilities
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic and rapidly changing sales environment
- Hands-on experience managing and deploying public Cloud services within AWS or OCI
Cerifications:
- Certifications in relevant technologies, cloud providers, or demonstration of ongoing learning would be a plus
