Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Architect with potential for greatness to help our Engineering team build stunning products for the Automotive domain. This is a highly technical role with strong leadership and technical competencies to deliver excellent solutions.
You will have the opportunity to define the overall architecture and technical design of cloud applications, participate in the software development life cycle, provide solid designs, mentor and lead other software engineers along the implementation path.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide overall technical architecture leadership on cloud application development

Evaluate, provide guidance and direction on new cloud application project engagements

Be deeply involved in the hands-on technical delivery of cloud applications

Deliver and maintain architectural/design artifacts and best practice materials

Continually monitor current state, business direction and technology trends to ensure sustainable solutions

Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation

Use your experience and leadership skills to motivate your teammates to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced working environment

Regularly coach and mentor others on best practices

Ensure all non-functional aspects of the solution are addressed, like usability, scalability, availability, security, maintainability and supportability

Plan strategically, identify business needs, problems and risks

Work closely with business, technology and operations team members, understand business requirements and translate those into value-add technology solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
-
10+ years of experience with software architecture
-
4+ years of experience with cloud applications or micro services
-
Experience of the full SDLC, delivering could-based applications
-
Experience with event driven architectures
-
Experience with serverless architectures
-
Experience designing and delivering large-scale solutions with high availability, scalability and security
-
Experience defining future architectures, laying out migration paths and delivering against the plans
-
A good understanding of industry standards and best practices to build and maintain architectures/designs

Previous experience in a similar role as a Cloud Software Architect, Technical Lead or Delivery Lead
