Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.Part of the Global Procurement, with a growing team of professionals in the Bucharest hub, the Commercial Contract and Supplier Relationship Management (CC & SRM) team is responsible for the ongoing supplier relationship and contract management of key Deutsche Bank suppliers and contracts across the bank globally.Role description & key responsIbilitiesThe Commercial Contract & Supplier Relationship Management (CC&SRM) Manager is responsible for leading the overall strategic relationships with suppliers within a specific supplier group (e.g. AD&M). In line with the bank's strategy, they will support the development of supplier strategies with a view to communicating a clear and collective vision for the future.The CC&SRM Manager will deploy best practice processes and tools to help create a center of excellence and consistent standards. They will engage with wider functions, to develop value-led joint strategic account plans, product, and service roadmaps to ensure that maximum value is being driven from the supplier relationships within their remit. They also have responsibility for implementing innovative new opportunities.The CC&SRM Manager will work collaboratively with category management teams to enable end-to-end management of the supplier lifecycle. They will assess performance across the supplier relationship, to optimize cost & service delivery.The CC&SRM Manager will manage the relationship with assigned service related stakeholders across the bank to ensure commercial value is delivered, protected and will implement continuous improvement opportunities throughout the contract lifecycle. They will manage contracts for the suppliers assigned to them, will manage, and resolve disputes and process change requests together with the bank’s Legal function. They will ensure that all contracts are compliant with regulatory, audit and policy requirements.The CC&SRM Manager will contribute to thought leadership across the CC&SRM community.You will join as part of the CC&SRM Application Development and Maintenance (AD&M) and Information Technology (IT) Consulting Portfolio and will primarily focus on Deutsche Bank’s post deal engagement and management of AD&M and IT Consulting suppliers and contracts globally.• Proactively manage all commercial aspects of contracts for assigned suppliers. Manage and resolve disputes and processes change requests. Ensure contracts are compliant with regulatory/audit/policy requirements• Manage relationships with assigned service-related stakeholders (including Chief Information Officer, Divisional Vendor Management Office (CIO, DVMO) across the Bank to deliver and protect commercial value. Provide support/guidance to internal stakeholders on all commercial and contractual matters relating to assigned contracts• Implement innovation and continuous improvement opportunities throughout contract lifecycle• Own holistic Bank-wide relationships with key strategic suppliers, acting as point of contact and facilitation between the Supplier and the various Deutsche Bank business units• Implement agreed governance framework, including the facilitation of Business and Executive Review meetings, supplier scorecards, risk management activitiesKnowledge and skills requirement• Financial Services experience with in-depth understanding of contract management/service delivery from third parties• Previous experience of working with/for global AD&M and IT Consulting• Excellent negotiation skills, managing global complex supplier relationships at scale. Experience building and maintaining highly strategic relationships with service providers• Strong execution focus and ability to think strategically about the business holistically, overcome challenges and deliver results that meet changing needs• Understand the contractual basis for life cycle managing a supplier relationship in terms of the key clauses and schedules that directly drive effective performance management and value creation.
