The company is involved in the generation ofinnovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of electronicproducts, support services within its strong competencies: product development(PLM), logistics and production.Join our Procurement team as a LocalCommodity Buyer for electronic raw materials.What part will you play?Manage a complex and heterogeneous commodity inElectronics Material Strategy Team. Build and develop a futureoriented material field and sustainability strategy with a globalcross-functional team.Identify and develop local, national and international suppliers. Professionallyprepare and lead negotiations and work on productivity measures to improve thecompetitive situation.Drive forward a future orientated suppliermanagement to ensure best supplier qualification and future technologiesfor Siemens productsIdentifying relevant procurement risks/opportunitiesand market trends to create the best procurement strategy for the business.Apply a proactive risk management in your daily workInnovation scouting is part of thejob and trends like future semiconductors and sustainable products have astrong influence on these commodities.Orchestrate a materialstrategy team. Foster strategic supplier partnerships and ensure suitablecontractual basis. Ensuring a good cooperation with internal clients.What you need to make real whatmatters.Relevant experience in strategic procurement of electronicalraw materials.The base of your success is a bachelor or master´sdegree in engineering or economics combined with several years of workingexperience, e.g. in strategic purchasing, production / production engineering,or R&D.With your seniority, resilience, and strong technicalinterest, you embrace responsibility with passion and demonstrate a high degreeof initiative and business orientation.You are a strong negotiator with extensive experiencein contract management. Project management skills would further improve yourprofile.
