The company is involved in the generation ofinnovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of electronicproducts, support services within its strong competencies: product development(PLM), logistics and production.Join our Procurement team as a LocalCommodity Buyer for mechanics raw materials.What part will you play?Manage a complex and heterogeneous commodity in Mechanics.Material Strategy Team. Build and develop a futureoriented material field and sustainability strategy with a globalcross-functional team.Identify and develop local, national and international suppliers. Professionallyprepare and lead negotiations and work on productivity measures to improve thecompetitive situation.Drive forward a future orientated suppliermanagement to ensure best supplier qualification and future technologiesfor Siemens products.Identifying relevant procurement risks/opportunitiesand market trends to create the best procurement strategy for the business.Apply a proactive risk management in your daily work.Innovation scouting is part of thejob and trends like future semiconductors and sustainable products have astrong influence on these commodities.Orchestrate a materialstrategy team. Foster strategic supplier partnerships and ensure suitablecontractual basis. Ensuring a good cooperation with internal clients.What you need to make real whatmatters.Relevant experience in strategic procurement of mechanicalraw materials, special design parts and its associated tooling.The base of your success is a bachelor or master´sdegree in engineering or economics combined with several years of working experience,e.g. in strategic purchasing, production / production engineering, or R&D.With your seniority, resilience, and strong technicalinterest, you embrace responsibility with passion and demonstrate a high degreeof initiative and business orientation.You are a strong negotiator with extensive experiencein contract management. Project management skills would further improve yourprofile. Good MS Office and SAP experience.You are accustomed working within global,intercultural and cross-functional teams and Innovations (digitalization, dataanalytics, process improvements) are your passion and you also drive themforward independently.To achieve your goals, follow new ways and employmodern approaches and be open for the change.Enjoying taking on responsibility and having a highdegree of initiative and business orientation will help you in an innovative businessenvironment.For ideal communication in an internationalenvironment, you are proficient in Romania and English.
