For more information about ITBM Group see www.itbmgroup.com Objectives: The objective of this contract is to perform designated tasks for the ASA-BS, with qualified staff, to assist the Garrison in dealing with routine contacts, communications and coordination with civilian and military leaders at the local, regional and national levels. Services rendered under this contract will also provide for liaison support and administrative assistance on behalf  the permanent party US personnel assigned to MKAB, Romania Responsibilities: Provides  liaison support with initial house hunting for permanent party personnel to include  accompanying the newly arrived personnel to available housing units for viewing, liaising with prospective landlords during  housing viewings and providing language support leading to effective negotiating/developing of lease contracts in compliance  with Army in Europe Regulation 612-1. Provides  Romanian language and technical support with the privately owned vehicle (POV) registration process with the Romanian Government in compliance within accordance with the established Host Nation Status of Forces Agreement. (SOFA) Provides liaison support between US Personnel and host nation authorities, private business, and facilities to ensure compliance of SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) and applicable MOA’s (Memorandums of Agreement) in compliance with all norms, practices, and applicable standards promulgated (implemented?) in command policy guidance. Provides  liaison support by assisting in the resolution of problems with service and billing by communicating US personnel concerns to the business and explaining the terms of the contracts to the US personnel. Language Interpretation: Ability to interpret from Romanian into English and conversely from English to Romanian during official discussions, meetings, and conferences on technical subject matters, where fluent and factually accurate rendition of fine linguistic differentiations, idiomatic, or technical expressions and slight shades of meaning are essential. Education and Experience: The below experience is highly recommended to perform the key tasks under this contract: Fluency in HN native language at the professional level Background in HN Administrative Law/ procedures Post graduate educational background in Law or Political Science or Public Administration or International Relations Experience in Community Relations Must have a valid driver’s license to be able to use Government vehicles as required on a daily basis.
