Configuration Consultant (NEC Systems Development Consultant) Location: Remote Rate: £-£/day Contract Type: Ongoing temporary contract, part time (3 days per week) Working Pattern: % remote working, with onsite presence in South London expected three/four times per year Our South London based Local Authority client are seeking an experienced Configuration Consultant (NEC Systems Development Consultant) with a focus on configuration in NEC Homelessness & Allocations and/or NEC Housing Service Charges. They are looking for the successful candidate to start ASAP, with interviews taking place as early as this week. Key Responsibilities: Acting as the lead expert on NEC Housing design and configuration in either NEC Homelessness & Allocations or NEC Housing Service Charges, managing the technical environment and ensuring it operates efficiently. Managing technical design workshops with service users and NEC consultants, translating service requirements into system specifications. Building and implementing configurations in in either NEC Homelessness & Allocations or NEC Housing Service Charges leading the testing and roll-out of new solutions. Troubleshooting issues in the NEC Housing system and managing system upgrades in collaboration with 3rd party consultants and NEC. Developing reports and dashboards using SQL & PL/SQL, with strong knowledge of NEC Housing table structures. Ensuring the system is secure, compliant with GDPR, and supports the council's statutory reporting requirements.
