We have an exciting opportunity for a content writer/journalist to join our Financial Crime Digest team in Bucharest. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, meticulous, eager to learn and will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The candidate will also be energetic, enthusiastic and possess a can-do attitude.
The content writer/journalist is required to have:
- excellent written English and business writing skills.
- proficiency in other languages is desirable
- an interest in financial crime issues. Experience in a relevant field such as journalism, communications, PR or a legal background is welcome
- strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under tight or competing deadlines and under pressure
- a diligent approach and a keen eye for detail
- solid problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- adaptable to change and a team player
- MS Office proficiency
- the highest integrity and ethics
- The successful candidate must have permission to work in Romania by the start of their employment.

The content writer/journalist will be responsible for:
- writing content news in English for the Financial Crime Digest
- monitoring technical developments, press and media coverage, and country developments using open-source tools, and proprietary databases
- accuracy and ensuring the highest quality content is published onto the news platform in a timely manner
- working with other members of the Financial Crime Digest editorial team and considering associated services that may be of relevance to our readers
- supporting the Editor of the Financial Crime Digest with social media projects and our thought leadership in the financial crime area
