Tactically, this position involves working with relevant project stakeholders and organization's executives. As this is a hands-on role, ownership traits and the ability to handle multiple deliverables and deadlines is mustHow You'll Make an Impact Ensure observance of contractual requirements, rights and obligations towards customers, subcontractors, and consortium partners to ensure scope and commercial requirements are met and to protect Siemens Energy contractual rights and entitlements. Parental leave Understand, interpret, and implement the contractual terms and conditions and scope of work in order to lead, support, mentor, and coach the project team through the organizational change, claims and negotiation process during the entire life cycle of the project and the warranty period. Prepare drafts and review small value contracts for products, services and works as well as procurement contracts by implementing the Siemens Energy guidelines and standard terms and conditions. Present the contract provisions and contractual change management requirements to the project team during the project kick-off meeting including company liabilities, notice periods, conflicting provisions, warranty terms, etc. Lead change orders and claims resolution effort (preparation, presentation, and negotiation) in collaboration with project managers and Legal. Knowledge on how to mitigate liquidated damages, warranty, and other claims, define the strategy and lead/support the negotiation. Coordinate and ensure the flow down provisions for procurement and subcontracts as the need arises. Understand the project execution lifecycle and be able to interpret and use to Siemens Energy benefit relevant tools (critical path schedule, S-curves, cost forecasts, risk analysis, STRIVE, NDAssist etc). Support and lead when required internal / external meetings, project reviews Take an active role in developing the negotiation strategy, building business case to defend against clients/suppliers aligned with leadership, Legal, procurement, project team and sales, maintaining a high-level of external customer/suppliers focus. This shall include gathering historical data, schedule impacts, risk management and cost impacts. Collect, prepare, analyze and manage relevant claim documents and evidence (including draft letters, settlement agreement, contract amendments, etc.) in accordance with contractual deadlines and requirements and in collaboration with Legal. Provide support to Legal team in litigation, arbitration or alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Provide inputs to project risk and opportunity as the claim and change management strategy develops and changes on a project. What You Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering , Legal or Business Administration Experience with international EPC contract terms and conditions and maintain familiarity with organization-wide terms and conditions. 3+ years relevant working experience, including experience in energy technology, oil and gas, power plants or EPC projects. Able to develop and implement the project specific claims and change strategy. good understanding of project management practices including project control (reporting, schedule and S curve) Extensive knowledge of contract terms, and conditions, contract management and project controls Experience in working with international teams and contract partners, in leading and influencing of multi-personnel teams Ability to equilibrate priorities and organize work effectively to meet deadlines Strong communication and negotiation skills Critical thinking and creative problem solving Strong personality with a willingness to represent the company Ability to efficiently work under pressure and to analyze data but also think creatively for creative issue resolution Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
