Country Manager / COO - Educational Publishing in Oradea

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Country Manager / COO to lead the operations of an established educational publishing company. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the educational publishing landscape, and an ability to drive strategic growth initiatives in a competitive market. Responsibilities: Oversee the company's operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth objectives, increase market share, and enhance the company's competitive position. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes for the organization. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new products or services within the educational sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, government bodies, and industry partners. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development. Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations, maintaining the company's reputation for quality and integrity. Utilize data-driven decision making to improve operational performance and achieve strategic objectives. Requirements Proven leadership experience in the educational publishing industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on achieving measurable business results. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and performance management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Experience in managing teams and driving a positive organizational culture. A degree in business, education, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
