Role Overview:As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our technical strategy, overseeing all aspects of our technology infrastructure, and managing our development teams. Your primary focus will be on React/Next.js and back-end technologies, ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of our software solutions. You will collaborate closely with the executive team, driving innovation and ensuring that our technology aligns with our business objectives. Responsibilities:Lead and manage the technology department, providing strategic guidance and setting the overall technical direction.Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.Provide hands-on expertise in React/Next.js and back-end technologies, working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality code and solutions.Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications, ensuring they meet user requirements and industry best practices.Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on our business and making recommendations accordingly.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.Manage and mentor a team of developers, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology, and guide the team in adopting new tools, frameworks, and methodologies. Requirements:Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven company.Strong expertise in React/Next.js and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, etc.), with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.Deep understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization, scalability, and security.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Solid knowledge of software architecture and design principles, including microservices and API development.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
