Customer Support Engineer in Constanţa

MS SQL Server (regular) Job Summary: We are looking for technically skilled candidates with interpersonal abilities for providing excellent customer service and technical support to our international customers. The primary duties of the Customer Support Engineer will be to guide our customers through the installation process, assist them in using our software, and troubleshoot any issues they may encounter. You will be working remotely with Eracent customers and locally with fellow Customer Support team members and with members of other Eracent Teams located in Warsaw. Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.2. Answer technical calls from designated customers and assist them in the using of the software and troubleshooting problems.3. Assist customers with installation of Eracent software, its upgrades, and customizations.4. Collaborate with other members of the support team to resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.5. Identify and escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support staff.6. Stay up to date with product information and updates.7. Provide suggestions to Eracent Product Management to improve Eracent products. Expected Skills: 1. Good English skills – yes, we communicate and document in English.2. Communication and interpersonal skills – you will be working with other human beings – customers and collegues.3. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team – different tasks require different approaches.4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – there will be quite a few “why?”, “how?” and “now what?” for you to answer on the job.5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously – yes.6. Knowledge of Windows operating system and working knowledge of Linux – Eracent agents run on Windows, Linux, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris.7. Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server – Eracent software backend runs on Windows and SQL Server.8. Knowledge of networking and virtualization is a plus.9. If you know a bit about Oracle, IBM or Virtualization platforms – that will be great.10. Knowing software licensing side of IT is advantageous.11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.12. A willingness to learn – you do not need to know “it” today, but you should know all about “it” tomorrow.
