SQL (junior) Data Analystics (junior) Power BI (junior) The Continuous Improvement Data Analyst works as a member of the Operations team within Epiq’s Legal Solutions division. In this position you will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives based on data analysis to enable the organization to make fact-based data driven decisions. The CI Data Analyst will develop a deep understanding of Epiq’s workflow and finance systems and how the data interacts and is aggregated into a master data warehouse for easy access and report creation. Data visualization and presentation will be a daily task for the Data Analyst as he or she seeks to uncover insights that will identify high impact areas to enable positive business outcomes. The role is hybrid in Wrocław. Essential Job Responsibilities: Research, analyze, and evaluate data to identify patterns and validate accuracy and process performance. Establish appropriate KPIs, improvement milestones, and project deliverables in order to direct investigation into problems and potential solutions. Identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes that point to improvement opportunities. Present explanations, interpretations, and recommendations for process improvements. Uses previous experience with data analysis and visualization strategies to effectively communicate areas of potential action for the business. Capitalize on SQL, DAX, Power Query and PowerBI skills to create compelling reports and dashboards for leadership consumption. Analyze financial documents such as monthly cost reports, revenue breakdowns by service category and profit and loss statements to keep the teams focused on items that may pose risks to hitting corporate budget targets. Establishes strong, effective and collaborative partnerships with key business area leaders and subject matter experts. Works with discipline each day in documenting report data sources, criteria and methodologies to contribute to a growing library of BI resources used by the team. Develop partnerships with corporate data & metrics teams and keep the CI team on the cutting edge of data that is available for use in the master warehouse and that which needs to be added to the backlog of information that is critical to use for reporting. Performs detailed quality reviews of all reports created prior to publishing for broader consumption Requirements for the role include: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. ✅ Experience in data analysis and data visualization ✅ Experience in BI development, preferably PowerBI ✅ Knowledge of some or any: DAX, Power Query (M language), SQL ✅ Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, as well as ability to develop global relationships while working remote ✅ Meticulous attention to details and problem-solving mindset ✅ Openness and Proven Ability to learn new technologies ✅ Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Cloud based infrastructure are a plus ✅ Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel and PowerPoint are required ✅ Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to be self directed and overcome obstacles without work stoppage ✅ Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels individually and as part of a team and to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
