For this role, we are looking for someone to join Nykredit – one of the banks BEC Poland works closely with. Nykredit is both a bank and a mortgage provider owned by an association of customers. Being customer-owned, they are in a unique position to give something back to their customers when they are doing well. Together they can simply do more for their customers and for society. This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw and you will join Nykredit's Wealth Delivery Stream. The Market Data Tech Team is newly established and will be in charge of carrying out necessary and critical development and operation of Reference Data solution. That includes data modelling support for RDS and EDM applications. The position as Data analyst offers a unique opportunity to join a new team, with focus on the Market Data sources and reference data quality. At Nykredit, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month. Primary task and responsibilities include:Modelling data and identifying source dataImproving the database structures related to processing the Market DataDeveloping of the EDM/RDS platformDeveloping changes to data models following Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modelsCooperation with 6 other team members, who hold positions like business analyst, data engineer or software engineerBeing a sparring partner for a number of business stakeholdersOccasionally, there will be trips to Denmark To succeed you will have: Experience with data warehouse design and modelling, especially experience in reference data managementGood knowledge of SQLKnowledge of API conceptA curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with othersAn educational background (university degree) related to the position advertised (Computer Technology/Mathematics/Physics/Finance/Banking)Practical knowledge of Python (a plus)The skills to work in a structured way and understand the need to document our deliveriesAn analytical mind, and will be able to see the big picture without overlooking important detailsYou are proactive, self-driven and result-oriented.You can communicate and work across borders.Excellent English skills - both written and spoken.
