1.About the RoleAs a Team Lead, you will be managing the ingestion and production of corporate data on behalf of Sustainalytics and Morningstar and you will lead the team that operationalizes universes and research. It is important the Team Lead can coach and guide the less experienced members of the team.Typically, the Team Lead works closely with their manager, team, and colleagues spread across multiple countries, as well as with internal Sustainalytics stakeholders. The person will be accountable for ensuring and improving the team's performance, productivity, and efficiency.Strong planning, analytical thinking, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this role. 2.Job Responsibilities• Lead by example, engaging the team to achieve goals and acting proactively to ensure smooth team operations;• Monthly reporting to senior management on projects, performance of business processes and tools;• Represent the team in meetings;• Act as the main point of contact for all questions, comments and concerns related to the assigned projects and initiatives;• Drive continuous quality improvement, making sure internal and external quality concerns are dealt with properly;• Collaborate with colleagues across global teams and offices.*The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and you will be expected to perform different other tasks as necessitated by changes within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.3.QualificationsExperience and soft skills:• Master’s degree in a related discipline;• 3-5 years of experience in running and managing projects and creating project progress reports;• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international, and technical environment;• Strong analytical, entrepreneurial, and problem-solving skills;• Alignment with Sustainalytics’ mission, vision and values.Technical skills:• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;Nice to have:• Experience leading and managing teams in an asset;• Strong project management and execution skills and proven experience optimizing processes, six sigma qualifications are a plus;• Technical skills including Power BI/SQL/Python/APIs knowledge/experience;• Project management certification;• Experience in leading small teams.Hybrid WorkMorningstar’s hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate in-person each week.
